(57)【要約】 【課題】 液晶パネルの製造において、断面形状が略矩 形形状の液晶貯溜用凹部を凹設した液晶注入容器によ り、液晶の真空脱気・脱泡を行っていたため、作業に時 間がかかり、また、液晶が液晶注入容器からこぼれるこ とがあった。 【解決手段】 液晶注入容器の液晶貯溜用凹部の断面形 状を略U字状とした。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the sure conduction of deaerating and defoaming work without spilling of liquid crystal from a liquid crystal storing recessed part during the deaerating and defoaming work in a vacuum state by forming the cross-sectional shape of this liquid crystal storing recessed part to an approximate U shape. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal filling container 2 is formed as a prismatic shape long in one direction. One surface thereof parallel to the longitudinal direction is recessed with the liquid crystal storing recessed part 3 for storing the liquid crystal in such a manner that its cross-section is formed to the approximate U shape. Both ends of the liquid crystal storing recessed part 3 are also recessed to the approximate spherical shape and are successively connected without the generation of a difference in level. The liquid crystal filling container 2 is recessed with the liquid crystal storing recessed part 3, by which the biting of air to the recessed part inside surface of the liquid crystal storing recessed part 3 at the time of filling the liquid crystal with a pipette may be lessened. The air bubbles by the biting of the air start floating from right after the liquid crystals are put into the liquid crystal filling container 2 and, therefore, the air bubbles rupture by arriving at the top of the liquid crystal build-up part while the volume thereof is small and consequently, the splashing of the liquid crystal by the rupture of the air bubbles is lessened and the spilling of the liquid crystal from the liquid crystal storing recessed part is averted.
