Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power cable elbow-joint structure, which has a satisfactory electrical conduction efficiency and a simple construction. SOLUTION: A compression connection terminal 2 which has a flat plate part 2a, in which an apparatus side terminal insertion hole 2b is drilled, is fixed to the end of the conductor 4a of a power cable 4 through compression. An insertion shaft part 1b of a shaft-type terminal 1 on an electrical apparatus side is inserted into the apparatus side terminal insertion hole 2b of the flat plate part 2a of the compression connection terminal 2 in a direction perpendicular to the flat plate part 2a. A nut 6 screwed on a male part 1a, formed on the tip part of the insertion shaft part 1b, is tightened to connect the compression connection terminal 2 on the power cable 4 side to the shaft-type terminal 1 on the electrical apparatus (not shown) side. The apparatus side terminal insertion hole 2b of the compression connection terminal 2 and the insertion shaft part 1b of the shaft-type terminal 1, which is mated with the apparatus side terminal insertion hole 2b, are formed into conical shapes which can be brought into tight contact with each other.
