PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a planar storage medium to a contact position or an insertion port by means of prescribed speed by judging a carrying state by the time or the like required for the movement of the medium and controlling power to a motor based on the judgement result.
SOLUTION: A control means 20 drives a DC motor 12 by forward rotation through the use of a motor driving means 21 at the point of time when the signal of a first sensor 13 is turned on and drawn-in the planar storage medium by prescribed speed. When the signal of the second sensor 14 is turned on, a clocking means 22 is operated and, then, a clocking operation is stopped at the point of time when the signal from the third sensor 15 is turned on. In this case, the motor driving means 21 reads a driving condition from a storage means 23 where data is stored by the clocking time detected by the clocking means 22, controls power to the DC motor 12 by the condition and moves the planar storage medium toward the fourth sensor by prescribed speed. Then, the control means 20 stops the DC motor 12 at the point of time when the signal from the second sensor 16 is turned on.
